Ezek 37:7 (NASU) So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.

God was showing Ezekiel what his new covenant would do for the people of the earth.

This new covenant would give them new life. This new covenant would cause them to be born again.

Jesus said to one of the teachers in Israel:

John 3:3 (NASU) Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God."
