Proverbs 16:1 tells us that "The preparations (or plans) of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the LORD." In short, our best laid plans will always give way to the will of God!
Psalms 121:4-8 "Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is your keeper: the LORD is your shade at your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve you from all evil: He shall preserve your
soul.
The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this
time forth, and even forevermore."
As we start the beginning of another work week, there is no greater
blessing than to realize that the God that we serve is watching over
us every hour, every minute and every second of every day.
As the chosen of God, His well beloved; nothing should give us greater peace than to know that our God is an awesome God who "neither slumber nor sleep". In fact, He don't even blink. What that means for us is that nothing escapes His knowledge, nothing gets by Him, nothing sneaks up on Him, nothing or no one can ambush Him. For He is omni- scient, He knows everything.
Not only that but He is our keeper who shall provide for us. When the heat of God's judgment for our sin should of fried us (in hell) as we cross this Desert of Sin, it is the LORD who is our shade in the
person of Jesus Christ who provides for us. Though evil would have
taken us captive, it is the LORD who has and will preserve our soul.
Truly, it is well with my soul! And when He preserves you, He will
preserve your "going out" and your "coming in". For how long, a day
or two? A month? NO!!! He will preserve your ins and outs "from this
time forth, and even forevermore." God will be with you all the way!
WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!!!
GOD'S ETERNAL LOVE

My first thought in the morning
Is to thank God for the day,
And for the many blessings
He will send along my way.
If the faith that rests within me
Remains steadfast, firm and strong,
Then I know that peace and joy
Will be mine the whole day long.
Petty troubles will not vex me
