(1) GOD DOESN’T HANG AROUND WITH THE DEAD!!
Matt 22.32 (KJS) I am the god of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
God is not the god of the dead, but of the living.
(2) GOD’S WORD IS LIFE
John 1:1(NASB) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
6 There came a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him.
8 He was not the Light, but [he came] to testify about the Light.
9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.
11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, (KJV=power to become the sons) (YLT=authority to become sons)
13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
(3) THE WORD IS A LIVING INDIVIDUAL
1 Sam 9:27 (KJS) [And] as they were going down to the end of the city. Samuel said to Saul, bid the servant pass on before us, (and he passed on), but stand thou still a while, that I may shew thee the word of God.
1 Kin 12:22 But the word of God came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,

Acts 6:7 And the word of God increased; and the number of disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
Acts 12:24 But the word of God grew and multiplied.
Hebr 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
1 Pet 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.
Rev 19:13 And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
