Jere 31:31 (NASU) "Behold, days are coming," declares the Lord, "when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
32 not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them," declares the Lord.
33 "But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days," declares the Lord, "I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
34 "They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, `Know the Lord,' for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them," declares the Lord, "for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more."

Ezek 36:25 (NASU) "Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
26 "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
27 "I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.
The old covenant was over finished. The temple was polluted with idols the people were given over to the Babylonians as the judgment of God.
Hosea said you are no longer my people
Hose 1:9 (NASU) And the Lord said, "Name him Lo-ammi, for you are not My people and I am not your God."
Jeremiah 3 "I have written out a bill of divorce"
Jere 3:8 (NASU) "And I saw that for all the adulteries of faithless Israel, I had sent her away and given her a writ of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear; but she went and was a harlot also.
This is different than the Sinai covenant.
· Everything in the Moses covenant is outward
· The temple , on a holy Hill
· A priest offered up your sacrifice
· The tablets of stone
· What you could eat & what you can’t eat
· How you dressed
Ezekiel says:

· No longer will people come to you and say "Thus says the Lord"

The word Know is the same word used in a relationship as man and wife.
Ezek 37:1 (NASU) The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones.

The breath of the Holy Spirit brings New Life to all it touches
You must be born again
John 3:5 (NASU) Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 "Do not be amazed that I said to you, `You must be born again.'
There are two kinds of people on this earth.
· The ones of the old Adam
· The ones of the Last Adam
Ephe 2:1 (NASU) And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.

We could not understand that Jesus is who is says he is
We could not understand the meaning of Life itself
We sought meaning in our flesh
We sought meaning in material things
